Job Description
Salary: $196,000 - 236,000 per year Requirements:
- We need a builder with strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, window functions, and performance tuning on large, multi-dimensional datasets.
- We are looking for someone with deep experience in data modeling, BI visualization, automation, and AI-enabled analytics.
- We expect strong business acumen and financial literacy, with practical understanding of ROI, forecasting, variance-to-plan, and business-case logic.
- We require direct experience working with a finance or FP&A team and the ability to translate between data and business needs.
- We need a candidate who is comfortable operating as a standalone technical individual contributor and owning the full solution end to end.
- We value a track record of building and monitoring KPIs that influence business decisions and automating reporting processes.
- We are seeking someone with executive presence and experience presenting analytical results to senior leadership in writing and verbally.
- We need strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams without missing deadlines.
- We value curiosity about GenAI and agents, with ideally some prior experimentation in this space.
Responsibilities: - We will rely on you to design, build, and maintain AIM28 program-level and Big Bet-level dashboards that track KPIs, benefits, investments, milestones, and value realization.
- You will prepare executive-facing reporting for monthly Steering Committee meetings, business reviews, and leadership updates, turning complex program data into actionable insight.
- You will automate recurring benefit and program reporting end to end, replacing manual file-based processes with scheduled, validated data flows.
- You will identify and implement automation opportunities across reporting workflows, including AI features such as automated narratives and summaries.
- You will build and support scalable ETL and ELT pipelines that extract, transform, and clean data from multiple sources.
- You will ingest and combine inputs from Big Bet teams into harmonized datasets and data models.
- You will define the business logic that converts raw source data into certified reporting, and document lineage and metric definitions clearly.
- You will design semantic models and curated datasets that support dashboards, self-service analytics, and future AI consumption.
- You will partner with the AIM28 Finance Lead to codify KPI definitions and benefit-realization methodologies into governed data models.
- You will develop and monitor KPIs, applying data-quality checks, reconciliation, and anomaly detection to maintain confidence in the numbers.
- You will conduct deep-dive analyses of KPI changes, benefit variances, and program performance issues, bringing recommendations to senior leadership.
- You will respond to ad hoc analytical questions from program leadership and Big Bet teams, triangulating across sources when needed.
- You will enable governed self-service analytics for stakeholders and reduce reliance on one-off requests.
- You will own delivery from requirements and solution design through build, UAT, and adoption while working with business stakeholders, data engineering, and IT.
- You will prioritize the reporting and automation backlog based on business value and effort, and keep stakeholders informed on roadmap trade-offs.
- You will set standards for analytics practice, including data integrity, documentation, and versioning, while coaching business analysts who build their own reporting.
